Pam Braun, author of the Ultimate Anti-Cancer Cookbook, cancer survivor and chef, will be at the Op.Cit. Bookstore in New Mexico on July 19th.
The author of The Ultimate Anti-Cancer Cookbook. Diagnosed in 2004 with the rarest of gynecological cancers, fallopian tube cancer, and only a 15% survival rate, Pam realized that while she had little control over the disease, she had to make a life changing move to take control of her health and diet.
She started to research anticancer foods and in the end, published her book entitled, The Ultimate Anti-Cancer Cookbook. Her cookbook is all about a healthy lifestyle and her philosophy of eating primarily a plant-based diet. As a restauranteur and chef, Pam knew all too well that adding foods with phytochemicals and antioxidants would boost her immune system and allow her to fight the cancer.
Today, as a cancer survivor, food is an integral part of her life. She travels to book signings, conducts cooking workshops and has appeared on TV shows where she tells her story. She is an inspiration to all who hear her.
