This week we have a simple task: play with mindfulness meditation.

Meditation is simple, easy, non-sectarian and in a very quiet way, may just revolutionize your life. It can be used in stress management, pain management and for simply improving the quality of your daily life.

Meditation is experiential. You have to do it to get it. This week we have a series of guided meditations from UCLA that you can experiement with and Jon Zabat Zinn talks you through an introductory meditation:

If you like the UCLA guided meditations, download them and take them with you. Once a day, do a meditation.

If you connect with the Jon Kabat Zinn video, follow his meditation once a day this week. At the end of the week, ask yourself if this is something you’d like to include in your anti-cancer life.

What is Mindfulness Meditation?

Jon Kabat-Zinn’s definition of mindfulness:

“Mindfulness means paying attention in a particular way;
On purpose,
in the present moment, and
nonjudgmentally.”
